The Cable car of the Costa del sol unites Benalmadena Costa with the peak of Monte Calamorro with it's 800 m the highest mountain of the area. A ride on the cable car is a lovely alternative to get a good view of the town and it's surroundings.

If you take the cable car, able to accommodate four people, you will be able to have a view from the Calamorra across the whole town, to the coastline and if conditions permitt, to Gibraltar and the north of Maroc.

During the drive which last approx. 15 mins you are also able to see different birds and the Buddhist temple of Benalmadena, the town with its streets and monuments and its theme parks.

Moreover, the cable car is the only means to transport you to the Jardín de las Águilas (eagles gardens) or to go to the recreation area of the Cima de Calamorro.
